About us
Dr. Lekieffre was trained in Pharmacy at Lille University (France), and passed a PhD in Experimental Pharmacology at the University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris) with a specialization in cerebrovascular diseases. Dr. Lekieffre spent two postdoctoral years at the Institute of Psychiatry, Department of Neurology, London, where she conducted research under the supervision of Professor B. Meldrum, a pioneer in the fields of epilepsy and stroke. Then she moved to Sanofi-Synthelabo, in Paris, to participate to the drug discovery and development programs in CNS diseases (stroke, epilepsy, alzheimer’s disease, traumatic brain injury, neuropathic pain, psychosis ..). She joined MDS Pharma Services, a worldwilde CRO, in 2001, to head the CNS Pharmacology group in Geneva, Switzerland, which covered a broad range of CNS pathologies. Since 2006, she is working as an independent consultant.
